Ataraxia "B"

There was a litter of Boerboels produced over a decade ago that produced some excellent Boerboels including Ysterberg Mouzer Bulla 92.5%, the number one dog in the world, his two brothers; Ysterberg Mouzer Lompies and the giant Ysterberg Troffel. Also the good producing female, Ysterberg Bertha.  I wanted to linebreed on this litter to see if I could recreate a bitch to carry their genetics.  Both B’s parents are red but I knew if my plan had worked I would get some pied pups.  Luckily I did, and chose to keep B.  Although only 6 months old, I am impressed by her structure and as a result, she is fast and athletic.  B is showing some good working instincts, she has an acute nose displaying good tracking ability with a drive to work a scent trail.

 

I think she may have the potential to become a working, boar hunting dog – which is a big statement for a purebred dog.
